Greetings!

I’m Kim Newport, single mother of two, and very busy internet marketing specialist. We currently live in the Chicago area, but are originally from Atlanta.

A couple of years ago, my job was cut and I needed to find a way to make money because there just were no jobs to be had in my area. Those I did find were only temporary and bills are not. So, I made up my mind that I would learn to navigate the Internet and learn how to make a full time living. I’ve learned what I know the hard way, and I’m determined to pass on what I’ve learned and prevent other unsuspecting people from losing valuable time and money! 

Let me tell you how I began.  I was invited to a seminar - you know, one of those really good all day seminars where they feed you and then make you feel like you're getting a great deal if you buy right there, that day.  Well I did.  I ended up spending THOUSANDS of dollars that day to purchase something that probably was worth $100.  I had no idea.  I had basically purchased a website building software package where I had to go out, find the products, have a merchant account, and then build the website.  It was painful.  It took me days to get all the products into the website and I only had 14 of them.  I had chosen the extremely competitive health and nutrition industry as my first venture.  Then when I was prompted to choose some "keywords" so that I could promote my site and be found in the search engines - it was like I was blindfolded in front of a dart board.  I had no idea what I was doing so I chose the keywords that got the most hits per day (big mistake).

If that was the end of the spending, it would still be bad, but it wasn't.  I then paid a company to optimize my website and to handle the submissions for the search engines, directories, etc.

Long story short, I had a beautiful site, with great products and I was proud of it.  But I had purchased something I didn't need, spent money I didn't have and in the end only made a few hundred dollars.
